Hi! We are Brian and Teresa, a fun-loving, active, Christian family. After years of infertility we were so blessed to adopt our daughter in 2006. We can hardly wait to adopt another child to share more joy, laughter, and love as a family of four.

About Us

We met and fell in love 19 years ago on a blind date. We share values, faith and love for family. We’re best friends and still as much “in love” as when we first met.

In the summer we enjoy bicycling, boating, camping and fishing. Once the snowflakes begin to fall, we like to downhill and cross-country ski. We love to travel. Some of our best trips have been with our families. We enjoy anything that brings us together, such as snuggling on the couch watching a good movie, reading to Sarah, or sharing a meal with family and friends.

When I met Teresa I fell in love with her optimistic outlook on life, her love for God, and her outgoing, playful personality. She is a wonderful wife. Teresa’s loving and nurturing disposition combined with her skills from being an elementary teacher makes her an exceptional mommy. Teresa continues to amaze me with her thoughtful and selfless actions. Sarah and I are blessed!

Teresa enjoys sewing, gardening, cooking, and reading. She used to be a hair-dresser and loves to “do hair.” She also enjoys time with friends walking, shopping, or talking over coffee.

Brian Through Teresa’s Eyes

Brian is such a devoted husband and loving daddy. I fell in love with his warm smile and friendly personality. Brian is still my favorite person to be around! He’s a very caring considerate man and brings out the best in people. Brian is extremely fair, a great provider and very generous. He loves that I am a stay-at-home mom, and absolutely treasures the gift of being a daddy.

Brian enjoys cruising in our classic cars and tackling home projects. He’s a history buff and enjoys researching vintage aircraft.

Sarah Through Our Eyes

Sarah is our sweet four year old daughter. She’s loving, smart, and quite social. People often remark about her happy disposition and compassionate heart. Sarah loves singing, dancing, and taking care of her baby dolls. She’ll be a fantastic big sister!

We were fortunate to meet Sarah’s birthmother prior to her birth and were honored to be an active part of her birth. Although we were open to having an open adoption with Sarah’s birthmom, she decided not to stay in touch. We would be glad to honor your ideas on how you would like to stay in touch after your baby’s adoption, and to be as involved as you’d like during your pregnancy.

Our Home in Washington

We live in a gorgeous part of Washington and enjoy the variety of all four seasons. We live near water where we boat regularly, and go skiing at the many local ski areas. Our home has three bedrooms, a deck great for entertaining, and a large backyard with a deluxe play-set and sandbox. We love our neighborhood because we are surrounded by our friends and all of our children play together.

Faith and Family

Our families are excited and supportive about our adoption plans. Most of Teresa’s family lives nearby, and Brian’s family is just a couple of hours away. Our extended family includes kids of all ages, and we take every opportunity to be together. We’re both Christians and we try to live out our love for God in every aspect of our daily lives. We’re committed to giving a solid foundation of Christian values to our children and to encourage them in their own relationship with God. We attend church regularly. Teresa enjoys a Mom’s Bible study group, and we pray together before meals.

Our Promise
