A Letter from Sean & Gayla
Hello from Texas!
Our hearts and home are full of love, and we are looking forward to expanding our family through adoption! We will provide your child with a strong education, financial stability, and a faith-based household.
We are dedicated parents and would cherish the opportunity to share our love with your child through adoption. We hope to keep an open relationship with you, including phone calls, emails, visits, and ongoing communication. We look forward to learning more about you!
We grew up together and started dating in high school. We married after college, and had always hoped to raise a large family. Through our pregnancy challenges, we have been blessed with our two children. Adoption was something we had always had on our hearts, and now we’re excited to add a child to our family this way!
We like to spend our time being active, walking our dog, riding bikes, or swimming. As a family, we like to take family vacations to national parks or beautiful locations where we can hike and relax. We also volunteer together in the community, at church, and on mission trips. We all participate in church, including teaching Bible classes, mentoring youth, and life groups.
Gayla is a very kind and loving person. She has an endless supply of love, which she freely shares. She is always willing to step in and help. She is up to almost any challenge and has a genuine desire to make each life she touches a little brighter.
Gayla is incredibly bright and analytical. She is a planner, never missing an opportunity to fill our family time with fun.
Gayla loves to bake, sew, read, listen to music, and enjoys attending concerts with the family. She is always staying active by hiking, walking around our neighborhood, and doing Pilates. My wife is an amazing mother and I am looking forward to seeing her raise another little one.
Sean is naturally kind, patient, calm, and funny. I have watched him coach soccer and mentor Boy Scouts for years with enthusiasm. Sean is steady and unwavering in his commitment to his family. Sean is open to any adventure our family seeks. He is very afraid of heights, yet spent a week climbing a mountain because our son wanted to explore with his dad.
Sean likes to ride bikes, work on classic cars, and camp with our kids. Sean is generous with those in need and is a willing mentor. He is a loving father and is looking forward to sharing our lives with another child.
We have two children. Our son, Davis, is 19 and studying engineering in college. We love when he can visit on weekends. Davis is a kind young man and a great big brother.
Our daughter, Sophie, is 13 and enjoys reading, playing the French horn, and is involved in scouts. She loves volunteering in the church nursery and is so excited to welcome a child into our family!
Family & Traditions
Sean’s mom and brother both live nearby. Gayla’s two brothers live nearby, and her sister has a house here and in Florida, splitting time between them. We see our families regularly and especially on holidays.
We love gathering for family traditions; opening Christmas presents with our extended family, decorating our home for the holidays, picking out Halloween costumes, volunteering at church for Easter, taking a family vacation each year, having living room dance parties, and movie nights. We look forward to including your child in our family traditions, as well as creating new ones!
We live in the suburbs of the same town we both grew up in. Our home has 4 bedrooms, a fun playroom, a yard, and a pool.
We live close to a neighborhood park and are within walking distance of great schools. We can be active with lots of sports and outdoor activities for both adults and kids.
We promise to fully love, support, and protect your child. We will share our Christian beliefs with your child and will always do our best to provide him or her with strong examples of Christ’s kindness, love, and generosity of spirit.
We value education and will do our best to provide your child with an education that will allow them to grow with self-assurance. We also believe children need the freedom to explore their interests, and we will always encourage them to express themselves as individuals. As parents, we will be front and center to cheer them on, and participate in their lives.
Very thoughtfully, Sean & Gayla

We love to spend time being active, walking our dog, riding bikes, or swimming. We also love to watch movies or have game nights as a family. We like to cook or bake together. We also take Pilates classes as a couple and as a family. We spend a lot of time participating in the kid’s events such as church functions, swim team and Scouts. We are happiest when we are all together. We also volunteer together in the community, at church, and on missions in Nicaragua and Camp of the Hills. We volunteer heavily in swimming, scouts, and soccer. We all participate fully in church, including teaching Bible classes, youth mentor, and life groups. We are faithful Christians. We have devoted our lives to God and attempt to follow Christ’s example. In conjunction with our belief, our family participates fully in our church. Our kids are active in the youth group. We are mentors to the teens, teach Bible classes to the toddlers, and are members of Bible study groups. Through Christ’s teachings, we are called to help those in need through participation in missionary ministries both in Texas and in Nicaragua.

|We live in the state of...|
We love living in Texas because of the kindness and hospitality of the friendly people. We love this particular area because there are so many opportunities for good education and great relationships. Education is very important to us and ultimately that is the reason we chose to live in this area. The area and schools are culturally diverse and our kids have close friends of different nationalities. The schools offer many opportunities for expanded education in languages, art, music, science, medicine, and sports. It allows kids to have a broad range of choices for participation and expanded learning. We live near a large city that provides exposure to art, museums, theater, and the best medical facilities.
